Scherpa is compiling a historial booklet titled "100 Years of Agawam-West Springfield Football". Colume one THE LETTERHEAD ERA 1924-1955 includes the first 50 years of football at Agawam High School, with each page dedicated to the yearly game vs. West Springfield High School. These neighboring towns have played every Thanksgiving day game and Scherpa's research shares the equipment used throughout the years, the weather, the pep rallies, bonfires, cheerleading visitations, uniforms, players, and the plays!
Scherpa has compiled research for the achrives at Agawam Public Library for years. Bringing data with includes listings of every graduate of AHS sorted by year and last name. yWrite Host Angela Grout gets the details on how he conducts his research and learns about his passion.
